BA International Writing Workshop “IPS: Transversal Writing and Publishing II”

At this year’s Winter School in International Political Sociology at PUC-Rio (30 June – 11 July 2025), we, in collaboration with João Nogueira (PUC-Rio), launched a new two-year project to support the professional development of early-career researchers from across Brazil, Argentina, and Colombia. Thanks to funding from the British Academy - International Writing Workshop (IWWEAF21\100027) - eight ECRs joined us in Rio for dedicated training and mentoring sessions on academic writing and publishing in international journals. Eight senior academic mentors have now joined the program to mentor a participant each for the duration of the project and support them throughout the writing and publication process. They will reconvene for another workshop at the next edition of the Winter School to present their work, reflect on their experience, and hand over to a new cohort for the following year.
